Prof. Abdulaziz Al-Hamed Rector of PSAU paid an inspection visit to the colleges of the university in Hotat Bani Tamim Governorate. He was accompanied by Vice-Rector Dr. Abdullah Jumaa, Vice-Rector for Academic and Academic Affairs Dr. Mashari Al-Osaimi and a number of university leaders. the visit aims to see the projects under construction. It started with a visit to the buildings of the College of Business Administration, which amounts to about one hundred and thirty four million one hundred and six thousand riyals and includes 46 classrooms, 28 laboratories, 11 multi-purpose halls, a lecture hall, a theater and a group of administrative offices.
During the tour, Rector stressed to the contractor implementing the project the importance of the completion on the scheduled time. Also, he and his accompanying delegation visited the project of the buildings of the College of Sciences and Humanities for female students as the college area is 8200 square meters and the value of 87 million riyals includes the general site and the college contains 18 laboratories and 47 classrooms and a number of 162 administrative offices and a theater that accommodates 350 students, cafeteria, chapel and library For female students. After that, the Rector visited the governor of Hotat Bani Tamim, Mr. Muhammad Al-Ajmi and thanked him for his good reception. Rector assured keenness to activate its role in serving the society in which it is located and the joint cooperation between them and the service sectors in the provinces to achieve the aspirations of our rational leadership in serving the citizen. Then, they visited the college of science and human studies and met with the faculty members and administrative staff and listened to their observations and opinions, and stressed the need to all strive to achieve the aspirations and raise the level of the university and its reputation locally and internationally through scientific research and educational outputs.
Later, Rector met with the students and delivered a speech in which he urged the students to take care to invest their time in the university and strive diligently for educational attainment and participation in student activities. He also stressed the need to communicate all the problems facing them to department heads and deans of colleges, according to the established mechanisms. Then, he answered the students ’questions, in a transparent manner and promised to make efforts to achieve the appropriate educational environment that all male and female students seeking.
