Prof. Abdulaziz Al-Hamid Rector of PSAU paid an inspection visit to the Digital Content Development Center and the Customer Service Center at the Deanship of Information Technology and Distance Learning He was accompanied by the Vice Rectro for Educational and Academic Affairs, Dr. Mishari Al-Osaimi, and the Dean of Information Technology and Distance Education, Dr. Khaled bin Abdul Rahman Al-Nowaiser, and the general supervisor of the office of the Rector of the University, Dr. Issa bin Khalaf Al-Dossary.
Rector checked the readiness of the Deanship with its e-educational systems, the extent of activating the lectures on the "blackboard" system and supporting the academic process of remote education for students and faculty members. Rector toured the two centers and listened to a detailed explanation from the Dean of Information Technology and Distance Learning about the work plan and e-learning statistics about and support provided to university employees since the beginning of the activation to achieve the desired objects.
Dr. Al- Nowaiser also explained that the Deanship is well prepared to provide technical support to all university employees, including faculty members and students.
It is noteworthy that the visit of Rector comes to ensure that the e-learning process is running efficiently and with high quality, and to provide full support to overcome any circumstance that may hinder the educational process, especially with regard to adding courses and providing lectures through the e-learning management system "Blackboard".
