Preparing your manuscript

  • Use the Springer LaTeX template

Prepare the paper with Springer’s conference proceedings LaTeX template (the LaTeX2e Proceedings Template, llncs document class), keeping its layout, margins, and fonts unchanged.

  • Observe the page limits

The standard length is 8 pages, including references and any appendices, with no additional fee. Up to two additional pages are allowed, to a maximum of 10 pages, and each additional page costs $30. These limits take precedence over the general length guidance in Springer’s guidelines.

  • Anonymize the submission

Papers are reviewed double-blind, so the submitted version must not reveal author names, affiliations, or other identifying information.

  • Disclose any use of AI

Any use of generative AI tools, such as large language models, in preparing the paper, from language polishing to drafting text or supporting analysis, must be declared in the paper itself (for example, in the Methods section), naming each tool and describing how it was used. AI tools cannot be listed as authors, and the authors remain fully accountable for the originality, accuracy, and integrity of the work.
