The College of Business Administration in Hotat Bani Tamim, represented by the Guidance and Counseling Unit in cooperation with the Academic Advising Unit (Female Campus), organized a training course entitled “Your Digital Academic Journey: From Academic Follow-up to Smart E-Learning through Blackboard Ultra” on Monday, 5/8/1448 AH. The course was delivered by Dr. Hibatallah Ahmed Al-Weishi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Information Systems.
The course aimed to enable students to make effective use of the university’s digital systems and familiarize themselves with the services available through the Academic Services Portal and the Blackboard Ultra Learning Management System, enhancing their ability to manage courses, assignments, examinations, and academic procedures efficiently.
The course covered the main features of these digital platforms and how to use them effectively, while also raising awareness about information security, technical support services, and effective academic communication practices.
The training course was attended by 45 students and featured strong engagement through interactive activities using the Mentimeter and Kahoot platforms, which helped reinforce key concepts and skills.
The course concluded by emphasizing the importance of regular academic follow-up and the effective use of digital services to support student success and empower learners to manage their academic journey efficiently.
