• The applicant must be of Saudi nationality or have a Saudi mother.

  • The applicant must hold a high school diploma or its equivalent, either from within the Kingdom or from abroad. The university’s council determines the equivalency of certificates from Saudi institutions based on the recommendation of the college’s board. The Ministry of Education's equivalency committee is the reference for certificates from foreign institutions.

  • The applicant must be medically fit and able to meet the academic program’s requirements.

  • The applicant must have studied at a local university or college, or at a foreign university, college, or educational institution, provided that it is accredited by the relevant authority in the country of study and is listed among the universities, colleges, or educational programs recognized by the Ministry of Education.

  • The applicant must not have been expelled from the university they are transferring from, or from any other academic institution, for disciplinary or academic reasons.

  • The weighted GPA required for admission to the college the applicant is transferring to must meet or exceed the minimum admission requirement for the last semester.

  • The applicant must submit their transfer application within the specified period for external transfers, as outlined in the academic calendar. To view the calendar, click here.

  • The applicant must have been enrolled in full-time morning study at their current university before transferring to Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University.

  • Applications should be submitted electronically through the External Transfer Portal at the following link: (https://transfer.psau.edu.sa).

  • Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. The outcome will be provided after the transfer request is reviewed via the External Transfer Portal.

  • The number of credit hours that the transferring student is required to complete at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University must not be less than 60% of the total credit hours required to earn a bachelor's degree from the university.

  • The number of credit hours the student has completed in the course they wish to transfer must be equal to or greater than the number of credit hours for that course at the university.

  • The course completed by the student must be equivalent in content or comparable to at least 80% of the course offered at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, and the number of credit hours must be at least equal to or greater than the number of credit hours for the course being equated, whether the credit hours are actual or earned.

  • The student's grade in the course they wish to transfer must not be lower than "Good."

  • The college council responsible for the course will determine the equivalency of the courses completed by the student at another university based on recommendations from the departments offering the course. The courses that have been approved for equivalency will be recorded in the student's academic record, including the grade obtained for each course, but these grades will not be included in the calculation of the student's cumulative GPA.
