PSAU, represented by the Deanship of Educational Services, held a virtual workshop titled “The Foundation of Career Success” on Monday, in cooperation with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF). The workshop was part of the university’s efforts to develop students’ skills and prepare them for labor market requirements.
The workshop focused on the key elements of building a successful career, introducing participants to methods of self-development and the training and support programs and services offered by HRDF to develop national talent.
The sessions covered several topics, including effective career planning and the role of career guidance in helping students identify suitable career paths and set clear goals for the future. They also addressed the skills required in the labor market and its latest developments, with a focus on narrowing the gap between education and employment, reducing unemployment, and supporting economic growth.
The workshop also explored ways to overcome employment challenges, succeed in job interviews, and maintain a healthy work-life balance to improve professional well-being.
The workshop forms part of PSAU’s strategic partnerships with national development organizations to improve students’ readiness for employment and equip them with the knowledge and practical skills needed to compete effectively. It also supports the alignment of the university’s educational outcomes with Saudi Vision 2030 and the changing needs of the labor market.
