Believing in the importance of community service and in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University has been keen to create a social responsibility department by a decision of His Excellency the University President, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hilal Al-Talhi on 03/09/1444 AH corresponding to 24/03/2023, To achieve the university's goals and aspirations to provide services targeting all segments of society by sensing the actual needs of its community and in a way that achieves the strategic goals of the university in terms of social responsibility and the goals of Vision 2030 through multiple windows.

Social responsibility management concerned with planning, implementation, follow-up and evaluation of social responsibility programs, and activities provided by the university to members of society and its groups and institutions inside and outside the university, with the aim of upgrading the role of the university in community service and activating responsible practices.
