Community service is one of the most important main functions of universities, in addition to teaching, learning and scientific research. Today, universities are required to have a vital role in serving the society in which they live and dealing with its components by touching its needs closely, standing on them, and working to address them with an accurate scientific methodology, which is the best way. Where the importance of community service lies as a major function for universities that possess the resources and capabilities that qualify them to invest them in what serves the community and contributes to solving its problems. And that its benefit goes beyond the boundaries of its academic community to reach the external community.

The Social Responsibility Department is keen to spread the culture of social responsibility and its fields inside and outside the university, and to develop plans that contribute to activating the community contributions of beneficiaries from inside and outside the university, and to provide high-quality community services that meet the needs of society, and follow-up, evaluation and development of programs and activities provided in the aspect of social responsibility.
