New Faculty Orientation Program for the 2024-2025 Academic Year

Under the esteemed patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamim, the Vice Presidency for Educational and Academic Affairs, represented by the Deanship of Development and Quality, organized the New Faculty Orientation Program for the 2024-2025 academic year. The event took place on Monday, January 21, 2025, at the College of Medicine Auditorium at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University.
Several university administrations participated in delivering the orientation’s activities, including the Vice Presidency for Educational and Academic Affairs, the Deanship of Development and Quality, the Vice Presidency for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, the General Administration of Human Resources, the General Administration of Information Technology, the Deanship of Research and Graduate Studies, and the Public Relations and Corporate Identity Administration.
During the program, a range of important topics relevant to new faculty members was presented. Several discussion sessions were held, addressing diverse issues such as the role of faculty members in ensuring quality and academic accreditation, faculty rights and responsibilities, teaching and learning at the university, research support programs, and the electronic services available to faculty members.
At the conclusion of the program, participants expressed their full satisfaction with all aspects of the orientation. They commended the valuable and enriching information presented to them throughout the various discussion sessions.
