The Deanship of Development and Quality (DDQ) organized a workshop entitled “Measuring Academic Program Key Performance Indicators and Developing Improvement Plans.” The workshop targeted personnel responsible for quality and performance indicators within the University’s academic programs.
The workshop aimed to introduce participants to academic program key performance indicators (KPIs), their principal components, and the methods used to calculate them in accordance with the specifications of the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation (NCAAA). It also addressed the qualitative and quantitative KPIs approved for academic programs, the importance and types of KPIs, the stages involved in managing them, and the mechanisms for measuring them and identifying their components. In addition, participants learned how to analyze KPI results and use the findings to develop improvement plans that support the quality of academic programs and enhance their performance. The workshop was delivered by Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Al-Murabit, A consultant to the DDQ, on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, via Microsoft Teams.
