Prof. Hamad bin Nasser Al-Turki, Vice President of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University and Chairman of the University’s Permanent Committee for Digital Transformation Measurement, visited the General Directorate of Information Technology on Sunday, September 20, 2026, to follow up on the latest developments in the Committee’s work and review the progress made in fulfilling the requirements of the 2026 Digital Transformation Measurement.
Upon his arrival, Prof. Al-Turki was received by Mr. Waleed bin Mohammed Al-Sulaitin, Director General of the General Directorate of Information Technology, along with a number of department directors and members of the Digital Transformation Measurement team.
During the meeting, the team reviewed the requirements and indicators completed for this year’s measurement and discussed the progress made toward fulfilling the remaining requirements. The meeting also addressed the efforts undertaken by the relevant entities and emphasized the importance of integrating roles and strengthening coordination to support the University’s objectives and enhance its readiness across the various areas of the Digital Transformation Measurement.
Prof. Al-Turki stressed the importance of maintaining an integrated approach, completing all requirements efficiently and to a high standard, and strengthening digital practices that contribute to improving institutional performance and enhancing the beneficiary experience. He noted that the University aspires to achieve results that reflect its continued progress in digital transformation and the advancements made in its services, systems, and technological infrastructure.
He also commended the efforts of the General Directorate of Information Technology and the Digital Transformation Measurement team, emphasizing the importance of continued follow-up and coordination with the University’s various sectors, addressing identified observations, and completing the required tasks in accordance with the established timelines.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Prof. Al-Turki expressed his appreciation for the efforts of all teams and entities participating in the Digital Transformation Measurement. He emphasized the importance of continuing to work collaboratively as one team and maintaining a high level of readiness to further strengthen the University’s position in digital transformation, support the achievement of its strategic objectives, and deliver more efficient and effective digital services.
