As part of the implementation of the innovation cooperation agreement between Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University and Saudi Electronic University, the two universities held a joint workshop titled “Innovating for an Aware Society.” The workshop aimed to strengthen collaboration, facilitate the exchange of expertise in digital innovation, and encourage participants to develop high-impact digital solutions that address shared challenges and lead to practical initiatives.
The workshop covered a range of innovation-related topics, including Design Thinking, innovation methodologies, challenge identification and analysis, idea generation, and the design of innovative digital solutions. These approaches help transform ideas into solutions and initiatives that can be further developed and implemented.
The “Innovating for an Aware Society” workshop brought together participants from both universities across various roles and administrative levels, including university leaders and staff members. Their participation enriched the discussions, facilitated knowledge exchange, and introduced diverse perspectives combining strategic leadership with practical experience.
The workshop also featured interactive sessions and collaborative innovation activities focused on identifying and analyzing key challenges, exchanging ideas, and generating a range of promising technological and digital solutions.
