The College, represented by the Guidance and Counseling Unit and the Student Activities Unit, organized an orientation meeting for new students on Tuesday, 19 Rabi‘ al‑Awwal 1448 AH, with the aim of introducing them to the college, its systems, and its services, and preparing them for a successful start to their university journey.
The meeting was moderated by student Mohammed Aba Al‑Hasan, President of the Student Council. The program began with a welcoming speech delivered by the Dean of the College, Dr. Badr Al‑Tamimi, in which he greeted the new students, congratulated them on their admission, and wished them success in their academic path. This was followed by a speech from the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Al‑Askar, who highlighted key academic aspects and regulations essential for students at the beginning of their university life.
Dr. Ahmed Saeed then delivered a guidance-focused talk, offering a set of tips and recommendations to help students make the most of their university experience and achieve academic success. After that, Dr. Abdulwahid presented an introductory session on the Blackboard platform, outlining its main features and explaining how students can benefit from it in their learning process.
The meeting concluded with a speech by the Head of the Student Activities Unit, Mr. Mohammed Al‑Tamimi, who introduced the students to the college’s activities and programs, emphasizing the importance of participating in events that help develop skills, refine talents, and enrich the overall university experience.
This orientation meeting comes as part of the efforts of the College of Business Administration in Hawtat Bani Tamim to support new students and familiarize them with the university environment, academic services, and student programs, ensuring a strong and confident start to their educational journey.
