Research and Innovation

Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University seeks to strengthen the research and innovation ecosystem by providing a stimulating environment that supports researchers and students, contributing to the achievement of its strategic goals and enhancing the quality of research outcomes in line with the highest international standards. The University also supports research programs and initiatives aligned with national priorities in health, sustainability, energy and industry, and future economies, in accordance with Saudi Vision 2030.
The University has achieved advanced positions in research, development, and innovation, and has established a Research and Development Center for Emerging and Advanced Technologies, in addition to a Technology Transfer Office aimed at transforming innovations into products and services with economic and social impact. The University also organizes an annual Research, Development, and Innovation Forum with the participation of distinguished experts and specialists from within and outside the Kingdom.
