The College, represented by the Student Activities Unit and in collaboration with the Guidance and Counseling Unit, organized a welcoming ceremony for new female students on Tuesday, 25 Rabi‘ al‑Awwal 1448 AH, held at the college theater with the attendance of faculty members and students.
The ceremony began with an introduction and a recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by a speech delivered on behalf of the Dean of the College, Dr. Badr Abdulaziz Al‑Tamimi, by Dr. Rabab Hamdi. She welcomed the students, congratulated them on their admission, and introduced them to the college and its programs, emphasizing the importance of diligence and commitment from the very first day of their academic journey.
Ms. Manal Al‑Duhaim, Student Activities Supervisor, then addressed the students, highlighting the role of extracurricular activities in developing talents and ideas, explaining the various activity tracks, participation mechanisms, and incentives offered to students, along with practical advice to support them in their university life.
Dr. Hanan Saqr presented an informative segment on academic regulations and guidelines, explaining how to access and benefit from the university’s electronic portal, the importance of reviewing the class schedule and understanding absence policies, as well as clarifying students’ rights and responsibilities and responding to their inquiries. Dr. Sarah Mustafa also provided additional guidance and information on students’ rights within the counseling segment.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of gifts to the students, with the participation of the English Language Club, in a welcoming atmosphere that reflected the college’s commitment to supporting and empowering its students from their very first day.
