The College of Business Administration in Hotat Bani Tamim, female students' section, represented by the Student Activities Unit, organized on Wednesday, 16 September 2026, an interactive activity titled "One Million Riyals: What Would You Do?", under the supervision of Dr. Nasira Taher and organized by the club's members, as an investment simulation experience directed at female students.
The activity aimed to enhance students' financial and investment literacy and to develop their decision-making, strategic thinking, and teamwork skills.
Participants were divided into three teams named Al-Ra'idat (The Pioneers), Al-Malikat (The Queens), and Future Leaders. Each team received a virtual capital of one million riyals, along with four investment projects with varying rates of return, and the challenge began with selecting an investment portfolio consistent with each team's vision and strategy during the first round, which lasted ten minutes.
In the second round, the teams faced a number of developments and events related to the investment projects, which required them to reconsider their previous decisions, analyze the variables, and recalculate returns according to the new data, simulating the opportunities and challenges an investor may encounter that call for rapid response and decision-making. At the conclusion of the challenge, the final returns of the teams were calculated, and Al-Malikat team achieved the highest investment return and won the activity.
This activity comes as an extension of the efforts of the College of Business Administration and the Entrepreneurship Club to transform academic concepts into applied experiences, provide students with a space to discover their analytical and decision-making abilities, and build awareness of investment opportunities.
