The Deanship of Student Affairs at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, in collaboration with the Preparatory Year Unit, organized a workshop titled “Programming in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: A Gateway to the Future for Gifted High School Students.” The workshop was held remotely on Tuesday, Muharram 15, 1448 AH, and was presented by Dr. Maher Al-Sharif.
The workshop highlighted the growing importance of programming in light of the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence technologies and its role in developing the skills of gifted students and preparing them to engage with emerging technologies. It also explored future opportunities in programming and artificial intelligence available to high school students.
The workshop further focused on raising awareness of the importance of acquiring technical and programming skills and encouraging students to develop and utilize their abilities in line with future requirements and the rapidly evolving technological landscape.
The workshop is part of the Deanship of Student Affairs’ efforts to support gifted students, enhance their scientific and technical skills, and introduce them to future pathways in innovation, artificial intelligence, and programming, contributing to the development of a generation capable of keeping pace with technological advancements and shaping the future.
