On the occasion of the Saudi National Day, the Community Responsibility Committee at the College of Engineering in Wadi Al-Dawasir organized a lecture entitled “Engineering in the Service of the Nation”, delivered by Dr. Faisal Mohammed Al-Dosari on Monday, September 28, 2026.
The lecture highlighted the vital role of engineering in supporting national development and achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. It also addressed engineers’ contributions to infrastructure development, innovation, the application of modern technologies, and building a sustainable future that supports the Kingdom’s progress and prosperity.
The lecture was attended by a group of College students, who actively participated through discussions and questions.
This event comes as part of the Community Responsibility Committee’s programs aimed at promoting national awareness, strengthening the values of belonging and citizenship, and highlighting the role of engineering disciplines in serving society and supporting sustainable development.
