The Alumni Committee at the College of Engineering in Wadi Al-Dawasir organized an online training course entitled “The Importance of Professional Certifications for Labor Market Readiness” on September 28, 2026. The course was delivered by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Galal, Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
The course highlighted the role of professional certifications in enhancing employability, strengthening graduates’ competitiveness, and supporting continuous professional development. It also introduced key certifications in computer science and electrical engineering, as well as national professional development platforms, particularly Human Resources Development Fund - (Hadaf).
The course targeted College students and graduates and aimed to enhance their professional readiness and support their transition into the labor market.
