The Cybersecurity Administration is one of the departments administratively affiliated with the Vice Rectorate of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University. It was established as an independent administration pursuant to Royal Order No. 37140, dated 14/08/1438 AH. The Administration consists of three main sections.

The first is the Governance, Risk, and Compliance Section, which is responsible for ensuring compliance with the requirements of the National Cybersecurity Authority by implementing and adhering to national cybersecurity policies, controls, and standards.

The second is the Security Operations Section, which is responsible for monitoring information assets for cyber threats and security incidents, identifying and addressing vulnerabilities, responding to cyberattacks, and analyzing cybersecurity risks.

The third is the Project Management Office, which is responsible for providing consultation and training, developing and providing forms and templates, and supporting project managers in projects related to the University’s Cybersecurity Administration.

This includes addressing threats, reducing cybersecurity risks, maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of data, ensuring its continuous availability to beneficiaries, raising cybersecurity awareness across the University, and fostering the principle of shared responsibility in protecting the University’s cyberspace.
