The Department of Electrical Engineering offers academic programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, built on study plans that combine solid theoretical grounding with practical application through laboratory work, research projects, and field training. These plans undergo periodic review to keep pace with rapid developments in the discipline and the requirements of the labor market, in line with national and international quality and accreditation standards.
The department awards the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, a program accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET); the Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (Communication Systems), which has been granted unconditional accreditation by the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation (NCAAA); and the Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering, designed to prepare researchers capable of contributing to the creation of knowledge and addressing technical challenges of national priority.

The Department awards the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering upon successful completion of 166 credit hours in accordance with the approved study plan. In addition, students who have completed 112 credit hours are required to undertake an eight-week summer training program. Students are also required to complete a two-semester graduation research project after successfully completing 132 credit hours.

The department awards a degree of Master of Electrical Engineering in Communication Systems after
completing (42) credit hours distributed according to the study plan. The student must also do a two-semester research project.

analyze communication technology problems.
