The Department of Electrical Engineering is home to a distinguished faculty holding doctoral degrees from leading universities in the Kingdom and abroad, at academic ranks spanning professor, associate professor, assistant professor, and lecturer. Their areas of specialization cover the full breadth of the discipline, from power systems, renewable energy, electrical machines, power electronics, and control systems, to communications, signal processing, electronics, antennas, and sensing systems.
Our faculty combine teaching with active research. They deliver undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise capstone projects and master's and doctoral theses, publish in peer-reviewed journals and conferences, and take part in funded research projects and partnerships with industry and research institutions. They also serve on departmental academic committees, quality and accreditation activities, academic advising, and community service, supporting students across both the male and female sections.
