The Inventory Control Administration is a supervisory body established pursuant to Article (22) of the Rules and Procedures for Government Warehouses, issued by the General Court of Audit.
The Administration’s role is to implement the rules and procedures governing government warehouses across all University warehouses, including the processes of issuing and procuring inventory items. These processes are carried out in accordance with objective and strategic plans that enable the Administration to determine the minimum and maximum stock levels, as well as reorder points for items held in warehouses. This ensures the availability of required items when needed, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and in support of the University's objectives, thereby ensuring the continuity and sustainability of operations. The Administration also oversees the assignment and registration of custodial assets to employees and administrative units.
In alignment with Saudi Vision 2030, the Administration is committed, under the guidance of His Excellency the University President and the supervision of His Excellency the University Vice President, to continuously developing its services and systems, streamlining procedures, expediting the approval of decisions, and maintaining ongoing oversight of the University's assets. These efforts aim to minimize waste, promote efficient consumption, and support the University's vision, objectives, and strategy for Total Quality Management, thereby strengthening our role in achieving administrative excellence and leadership.
