The Inventory Control Administration at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University was established concurrently with the establishment of the University pursuant to the Royal Order No. (7305/M/B) dated 03/09/1430 AH. At the time of its establishment, the Administration was administratively affiliated with the General Administration of Administrative and Financial Affairs.
Pursuant to Administrative Decision No. (43511000017) dated 06/09/2023, the administrative affiliation of the Inventory Control Administration was transferred to the University Vice Presidency.
Subsequently, pursuant to Administrative Decision No. (14612444) dated 30/03/1446 AH, the Inventory Control Administration was placed under the direct supervision of His Excellency the University President.
The Administration is responsible for monitoring inventory in the University's warehouses, as well as monitoring custodial assets across all University sectors, in accordance with Article (22) of the Rules and Procedures for Government Warehouses. Its responsibilities include:
Monitoring inventory movements to ensure the regular and uninterrupted operation of warehouse activities.
Determining inventory levels to ensure the continuity and regularity of warehouse operations.
Conducting inventory counts to facilitate external oversight and inspection of warehouses by the relevant authorities.
Identifying errors promptly and taking measures to prevent their recurrence in the future.
Safeguarding the University's assets by minimizing the loss, damage, or obsolescence of inventory items.
