Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University achieved a new international accomplishment by winning three medals at the 50th edition of the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions 2025, held in the Swiss city of Geneva during the period from 9 to 13 April 2025 CE, with the participation of more than 800 exhibitors from 40 countries, and more than 1000 inventions and innovations from around the world.
The University's participation came as part of strengthening its presence in international scientific forums and showcasing its efforts in the fields of scientific research and innovation. The University's pavilion saw significant interest from a number of senior officials, diplomats, and university presidents, who viewed the most notable innovations and research projects presented by the University.
The participation resulted in winning a gold medal with distinction for the innovation "Mobile Units Made of Geopolymers and Natural Fibers for Water Purification", in addition to two silver medals for the innovations "A Device for Measuring Liquid Purity" and **"Monitoring Blood Glucose Levels through Breath Analysis"**, an achievement that reflects the quality of research and innovation fostered by the University.
The University's pavilion also received a number of international honors from scientific bodies and institutions specialized in innovation, including the French Inventors' Association, the National Research Council of Thailand, the Korea Invention Promotion Association, the China Association of Inventions, and the International Alliance for Technology Strategy in Hong Kong, in recognition of the University's excellence and contributions in the fields of research and innovation.
This achievement reflects the growing standing of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University on the international stage and confirms its continued support for the research and innovation system, contributing to achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and building a knowledge-based economy founded on creativity and excellence.
