Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University achieved a new international accomplishment by winning two gold medals and one bronze medal at the 51st edition of the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions 2026, held in the Swiss city of Geneva during the period from 11 to 15 March 2026 CE, through its participation within the Ministry of Education's pavilion, showcasing a number of its distinguished innovations and research projects.
The University participated with three distinctive innovations in the fields of dentistry and medical technology, including the development of an innovative porous cryogel dressing for treating chronic wounds, a device for stabilizing dental implant screwdrivers, and a high-precision tool for measuring pathological tooth movement, reflecting the quality of its research output and its contributions to developing innovative medical solutions.
The University's pavilion recorded notable attendance from a number of officials and dignitaries, including the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Switzerland, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Arkan Al-Dawoud, and the Head of the Education and Training System delegation at the Ministry of Education, Dr. Adel bin Suleiman Al-Fraih, in addition to a number of officials from the Ministry of Education and the Cultural Attaché, who reviewed the University's innovations and praised its scientific and research standard.
This achievement confirms the excellence of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University in the fields of scientific research and innovation, and reflects its success in developing impactful technical and medical solutions, strengthening its presence in international scientific forums and contributing to achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
