Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs and in collaboration with the College of Engineering, is organizing the Engineering Forum under the patronage of the University President, Prof. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamim.
Held under the theme “Connecting Innovation and Sustainability through Engineering,” the forum will bring together 15 universities and will take place from April 14 to 15, 2026, at the Sports Hall on the University Campus.
Volunteer Opportunities for Participation During Hajj Season 1447 AH
The Deanship of Student Affairs at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University has announced its intention to recruit a number of university students to participate in volunteer opportunities during the Hajj season 1447 AH. These opportunities include participation in scout service camps and the work of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Makkah, with details, requirements, and registration available through the channels specified in the announcement.
These volunteer programs aim to enhance the university’s efforts in promoting a culture of volunteering and strengthening students’ sense of initiative and social responsibility. They also provide a valuable opportunity to gain field experience and develop teamwork and communication skills, while contributing to serving pilgrims during the Hajj season.
Invitation to Attend the Closing Ceremony of the Qur’an and Sunnah Competition 1447 AH
Under the gracious patronage of His Excellency the President of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, Prof. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamimi, the Deanship of Student Affairs will hold the closing ceremony of the Qur’an and Prophetic Sunnah Competition for the academic year 1447 AH. This initiative reflects the university’s commitment to promoting Islamic values, encouraging students to engage with the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad, and fostering a spirit of healthy competition in Sharia-related fields.
The competition is part of the university’s programs aimed at instilling authentic Islamic principles in students, supporting their participation in meaningful activities that contribute to building well-rounded personalities both academically and behaviorally, and strengthening their connection to reliable Islamic sources.
The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 20/10/1447 AH, at 11:00 a.m., at the College of Engineering Theater at the university, with the attendance of university staff, participating students, and members of the organizing committee. The event will also include honoring the winners and recognizing the efforts of all participants in this blessed competition.
Join Agenticthon and Build Intelligent Systems That Think, Collaborate, and Make Decisions
The Artificial Intelligence Club at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University has announced the opening of registration for Agenticthon, an event targeting undergraduate students, programmers, developers, and individuals interested in artificial intelligence.
The event aims to foster innovation and empower national talent to develop intelligent solutions that support digital transformation across various sectors. Agenticthon features several key tracks, including AI agents, multi-agent systems, smart assistants, and interactive intelligent learning. The event offers total prizes worth SAR 200,000, with registration closing on April 10, 2026.
Invitation to the University Advising Compass Forum
The Deanship of Student Affairs at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University is organizing the University Advising Compass Forum under the patronage of the University President, Prof. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamim.
Held under the theme “Exploring the Future of University Advising in Light of Saudi Vision 2030,” the forum will take place on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the University City Auditorium, Building 6. The event comes as part of the University’s efforts to highlight key topics and future directions in university advising.
Submission of Promotion Requests Now Open for Eligible Positions (Grade 10 and Below)
The General Administration of Human Resources at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University has announced the application period for promotion vacancies at Grade 10 and below.
Applications are open to eligible employees who meet the promotion requirements stipulated in Article 48 of the Executive Regulations for Human Resources and the University’s relevant regulations, as outlined in Circular No. 6 dated 09/10/1446 AH. Applications must be submitted through the Masar platform starting Sunday, 17/10/1447 AH, and will remain open until the end of Friday, 22/10/1447 AH, for a period of six days.
Invitation to Participate in the University’s First Photography Exhibition
The Department of Public Relations and Corporate Identity at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University has announced the launch of the University’s first photography exhibition, which aims to document campus life and showcase the beauty of the University campus through contributions from University staff and affiliates.
The exhibition will feature several themes, including architectural identity, University facilities, classrooms and laboratories, campus life and activities, nature, and outdoor spaces. Awards will be presented to the winners, with selected works showcased and participants honored. Submissions will remain open until April 28, 2026.
The university is launching the Defencethon competition in modern technology fields.
Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University has announced the launch of “Defensethon,” a competition targeting middle school, high school, and university students with an interest or background in one of the competition’s fields.
The competition covers several technology-focused tracks, including robotics, aviation, digital manufacturing, cybersecurity software, and artificial intelligence. Registration is available for individuals and teams through the online registration platform until April 2, 2026.
Registration opens for the Entrepreneurship Training Track – First Cohort for University Staff
Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, represented by the Vice Presidency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research through the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Accelerator, and in partnership with the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, has announced the opening of applications for the first cohort of an exclusive training track for University staff and affiliates titled “Entrepreneurship Foundations.”
The training track aims to introduce participants to the fundamentals of business, startup establishment steps, and commercial regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The program covers key themes, including an introduction to entrepreneurship, exploring the world of entrepreneurship, and moving from idea to venture creation.
Academic Positions via Transfer System through Qudrat Platform
The General Administration of Human Resources at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University has announced the opening of applications for a number of academic vacancies through service transfer via the Qudrat platform.
The opportunities are available to qualified Saudi nationals on the Saudi faculty members’ salary scale and cover several colleges across the University. Applications will be accepted from March 8 to 19, 2026, in accordance with the required conditions and documents. The deadline for receiving initial approval through the Qudrat platform is May 14, 2026.
